That part is predictable. What makes this transfer different is the deadline at the other end: a ferry leaves at its published time whether or not your bag came off the belt first. So we do not plan the pick-up forward from your landing — we plan it back from your sailing.

Your flight number and the departure time of the boat you are booked on, plus the island and the ferry company. The second time is the one the whole plan is built around.
We count backwards
From the sailing: the margin the ferry company asks for at the pier, the drive along the Kaštela bay, the baggage hall, and passport control if you fly in from outside Schengen. If the gap looks too tight, you hear it from us when we quote, not at the pier.
We wait inside arrivals
Your name on a sign, the flight tracked, and 30 minutes of free waiting from actual landing. A late landing shows up on our side at the same moment it shows up on yours.
We stop at the right end
Car ferries and catamarans do not all leave from the same stretch of the harbour. Tell us the company and the island, and we stop as close to your pier as traffic and the port's access rules allow.

The run itself is ordinary: out of the terminal, along the Kaštela bay, into Split and down to the harbour. Your driver starts from Trogir, eight minutes from the runway, so an early landing is an ordinary booking rather than a favour.

Off the ferry, onto your flight.
Going home, the two deadlines swap places: the boat decides when you reach Split, and the airline decides when check-in closes. Tell us the sailing you are coming back on and the driver waits at the harbour where your boat docks, not at a rank you have to find with your bags. If the crossing runs late, a WhatsApp from the boat is enough — the driver knows before you dock. The harbour to the terminal is about 25 minutes in light traffic, longer on a summer afternoon, and that margin goes into the pick-up time.

When you do not need a booked car.
Travelling light, with hours to spare before your boat? The airport shuttle bus runs to Split's main bus station, which sits right beside the ferry port, and costs a fraction of any taxi. Uber and Bolt cover the run too, from a pickup point on the main road outside the terminal complex.
Book ahead when the timing actually matters: a same-day connection, more bags than hands, a group, or a landing close to the last sailing of the day.

How long does it take from Split Airport to the ferry port?
About 25 minutes in light traffic, closer to 40 when summer traffic backs up along the waterfront. The ferries leave from Split's city harbour, the same harbour the cruise ships use, and we build that margin into your pick-up time.
How much time should I leave between landing and my ferry?
It depends on the flight and the sailing, which is why we ask for both. Passport control only applies to flights from outside Schengen and can run long on a summer Saturday, and the ferry company tells you how early to be at the pier. Send us both times and we will tell you honestly whether the connection is realistic before you book it.
Do you sell ferry tickets or check the timetable?
No. Tickets, timetables and any change to a sailing belong to the ferry companies, so book and check your crossing with them directly. We drive the leg between the terminal and the pier, timed to the sailing you give us.
What happens if my flight lands too late for my ferry?
We track the flight, so we see the delay when you do, and 30 minutes of free waiting runs from actual landing. We don't charge for delays outside your control, and the driver still takes you to the harbour for a later sailing — the crossing itself is rebooked with the ferry company.
Where exactly do you drop us?
As close to your pier as the traffic and the port's access rules allow. Car ferries and catamarans leave from different parts of the harbour, so tell us the ferry company and the island when you book, and the driver heads for the right end.
Can you collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport?
Yes. Tell us the sailing you are returning on; the driver waits at the harbour where your boat docks and drives straight to the terminal, with your airline's check-in time as the deadline.
